I am currently a fourth seat trainee and my final seat is in the Employment department. Prior to this I have sat in the Commercial Property, Family and Commercial Litigation department. I also have 9 months of experience of working in Residential Conveyancing as a paralegal.
In the time spent in the Commercial Property department, I worked closely with fee-earners on drafting various documents, in addition to undertaking legal research to find solutions to our client’s commercial problems. Whilst in the Family department, I assisted various fee-earners in obtaining the best possible settlement in divorce proceedings for our clients, as well as drafting and reviewing other legal documents, such as pre and post-nuptial agreements.
Working in the Commercial Litigation department I was able to gain experience assisting different fee-earners on disputes which covered multiple areas of the law. The matters I worked on were at various stages of proceedings and I also have experience of attending an arbitration hearing, in addition to a 3 day Court hearing.
My aim is to deliver work through a personable, client-first approach. I take time to understand our client’s objectives and deliver on these to a high standard within the relevant deadlines.
I joined Taylor Walton in 2021.
