I am a Partner in our family department and based in our Harpenden office. I qualified as a Solicitor in 1995 and have practiced Family Law ever since. I am also a qualified Collaborative Lawyer and I am currently training to become a Family Law Supervisor, to help support other family lawyers.

I support my clients in a full range of issues arising from their divorce or separation which includes both arrangements for their children and financial settlements.  I often advise clients with substantial assets and complex issues arising from the division of trusts, family businesses (including farms) and pensions. I also recognise that those clients with fewer assets require expertise, experience and lateral thinking.

By actively listening to my clients wishes, I am able to draw on my experience to explore and facilitate the options available to them which will best suit their needs – ranging from drafting agreements reached directly between couples, round table meetings, mediation, lawyer led negotiation, court proceedings and Arbitration. I am aware that one size does not fit all.

I also enjoy working with clients at the start of their relationships, skilfully guiding them through the process of preparing Pre and Post Nuptial Agreements and cohabitation agreements.

Along with my colleagues, I am also a member of Resolution –  a community of family justice professionals who work with families and individuals to resolve issues in a constructive way wherever possible.

As I am no longer able to run, I have taken up cycling to justify indulging my love of all food and most wine. Owner of 3 children to keep me on my feet and two spaniels to pull me off them.

I joined Taylor Walton in 2022.
